Euro 2016 was one of the most logistically challenging projects to date.

 

After scouting multiple venues around Paris; from Brigitte Bardot's apartment to a penthouse suite designed by Philppe Starck we settled on the rooftop views of the Institut du monde Arabe overlooking Notre Dame.

With internal & external presentation positions transmitting throughout the day, light control was our main challenge. Bespoke ND panels were manufactured & installed on a daily basis for each show to allow the romantic Parisian city scape to be seen in it's best light at all times.

 

With often very little time to reposition cameras between studios, the Directors' (Paul McNamara) weather app became a running joke as we hung on to the last minute to determine which location we would use to go on air.
